Make A Shopping List and Stick To It

I hope you all are enjoying the amazing weather we’ve been having.  This weekend it was spectacular in Southwestern Pa.
I spent Saturday taking re-certification classes for my Athletic Council on Exercise (ACE) personal training certification.

Sat evening we went to The Relay for Life at Peters Highschool— I did a presentation for cancer survivors while my husband and son performed on unicycles there.

Sunday my husband, oldest son and I went cycling on the trail. We decided to leave the trail and hit the roads. We got an amazing hill workout riding to Peters Park (the long way)! Hope you all had a great weekend too!

Heres’ a tip to Stay on Track:
Focus only on the items you need to lose weight and stick with the items you have pre-selected as part of your diet program. Grocery stores stock the most tempting foods at eye level. It’s easy to be side tracked if you let your eyes wander. It’s also hard to resist a sale. Bargains can be tough to pass up. Only consider items you would normally include in your diet and don’t get distracted by foods that are high in fat and calories or high in salt. Set time limits on how long you spend in the store. Following your list with few deviations will make you less susceptible to colorful packaging, great deals and impulse items. Be Strong and “Shop Smart”
