There have been a lot of changes taking place lately. To name a few, kids have returned to school, days are becoming shorter, and leaves have begun to fall from trees. Believe it or not, fall is quickly approaching!
With all of these changes, wouldn’t you agree that now is a great time to start a new, fun and exciting workout routine? Of course it is!
Starting a new workout routine can be exciting, but tough. The first couple days are typically the easiest and best, because you exert all the energy you built up while preparing yourself for what was ahead. But, by the third, many of us begin to peeter out, because our muscles are tired and just can’t take any more of the butt kicking we’ve been giving them! It’s important that despite the pain (which is normal), you keep telling yourself that you can and will stick with it!
By the fourth day, you should begin to feel a little better. Many people call day four, the break through day. If you can make it through four days, you’re on your way to a healthier, thinner and younger looking body.
As you continue your workout routine, you’ll notice that the pain you had when you began the routine will disappear. And, of course, pain isn’t the only thing that you will lose. It’s those unwanted and unflattering pounds, and inches off your butt and thighs!
I encourage you to take each and every day of your life, one at a time. Live in the moment, not in the future. Embrace life, change, your body, and what you have been given. Some of the happiest and healthiest people I know do, so it’s worth giving a try, right?
If you’re ready to change and want to share what’s working for you, or state your exercise goals, I would love to cheer you on. It all starts with writing it down and taking action. It’s a new season, why not give it a try.
